Family Day(s)

So ... It's coming to the end of the hols, and School's coming back... This is just something we did ..

So on the morning of 27 Dec (9am) we got up and drove to RWS :D then we had breakfast and entered USS (Universal Studios Singapore) :) My dad's friend worked as a manager at RWS, so we could upgrade our passes for free to EXPRESS. .... However, the passes would only come later, so we had to make do with the queue for now .

First attraction was the Hollywood's LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION. (Short queue) We had been there before, but now we were in the first row so it was still cool.. With the effects and everything. A little scary... But okay.

Then we got out.

Secondly, we went to Shrek land (far far away ..) we took the dragon coaster (short-ish queue)... Rather thrilling I guess .. I sat at the back this time. -.-" The last time I came, I was at the front :( But I still enjoyed it nevertheless.

After that we watched the Shrek 4D.. Again. Sat in the first row :D

Then we got out in time to collect our EXPRESS passes personally :D after a few thanks and everything, we decided to have lunch first at a Chinese Bistro.

Lunch was Simple Dim Sum but it was really good.

Then we left.

The first ride we took with EXPRESS passes was the TRANSFORMERS . IT WAS GREAT . REALLY . REALLY . it was a stimulator ... And AWESOME. Wanna go there again. The BEST thing? We didn't have to queue the 3 hour queue XD. PTL.

So after that...

We proceeded to the LOST WORLD section . (Jurassic Park) then we queued (yes, even in the express line) for a ride on the canopy flyer :) the legs dangling one . Yeah .. My bro started to freak out a little bit but then in the end he managed to have fun too :D

However, because he freaked out a little bit too much he had a slightly higher temperature (too much blood in his head I think) and he got a bit grouchy and sleepy. And it was getting a lil rainy so we went to check in into our amazing room at Festive Grand. Where we would be staying overnight :D so after a nap and exploration of the room, I had a bath and then we went back to USS.

There, we went to the MUMMY (Egypt) section. While my parents went for the MUMMYcoaster thing (supposed to be scary) I went to the short ride on the jeep thing with my bro -_• oh well .

So we moved on and went back to the lost world. There we got a short ride on those flying ride things where it goes round and round. Yeah .

So after that we went for dinner at the lost world foodcourt thing .. It was so so
I guess . Really dear (expensive).

After that, the sun ha set and we went to watch the water show at about 7.30pm . The effects were good, it was really entertaining and everything.. Storyline could use some work though.

After that, it was getting kinda late so we headed back to ride the AWESOME transformers . this time we had to queue though, as the express passes could only be used once a ride. So we queued and everything... Then we had a ride on the best ride ever and headed back to our room.

There, after my bro had his bath, my parents went down to eat supper while my bro and I hung out and watched tv.

Then my parents returned with FOOD. Chicken drumsticks, spaghetti and calamari and Maggie Mee :D so we ate...? Yeah.

Then after washing up and everything we went to bed.

Next morning, my bro and I stayed in the room to eat bread we bought for breakfast while my parents made their way down for the hotel breakfast. Then after a few hours, we checked out.

After, we drove to the Singapore flyer, where we had an eventful ride again. Nothing special. We had been there before~

We had lunch at one of the foodcourts there which was expensive. I ate dim sum, dad had oyster egg, mum and my bro had chicken rice. Then we ate and left.

then we went home :D

Yeah~ :D

So... We're all up preparing and getting ready :D

JIAYOUS~

My HERO .

My hero doesn't have mind control. He can't fly. He can't shoot cool webs. For crying out loud, he doesn't have any powers!

So then how is he a hero? He is someone who makes a difference in lives, helping people, controlling rowdy kids (like me), making the world a better place to live in for everyone!

He works hard, tries hard (his best, actually), is considerate, always lending a helping hand..

He comforts me when I'm sad, laughs with me when I'm happy, praises me when I do well, criticizes me appropriately when I do badly....

He is such a joker, yet serious when the need arises. He assess situations quickly and reacts to them accordingly, and gifts people generously. Not only that, he can solve problems wisely and listen to complaints patiently with empathy and has the initiative take action when needed.

He might not be the fittest, but his heart is probably the biggest, being compassionate and honest. Sure, he might screw up a bit, but he always manages to set things right and I can trust him to make good decisions and to do what's right.

He might not be considered a hero in others' eyes, (although he is one in mine), but he is certainly a role model and I'm sure that statement was met with unanimous agreement.

He is always there for me, and most importantly, loves me for who I am...

And I love him too :)

How I am spending my Christmas .

I woke up early, had a great time at church :D yeah .... So now I had lunch and I'm just staring into blank space .. Sigh . .... Sometimes I wish my cousins would go away, specifically the older one .... He's 10, and srsly outta control.

But hey, Christmas is not about holding grudges, and that's something I have to correct. So now, I shall try my BEST to make this Christmas worth a year's waiting :)

I'm really bored now, so I have to look for something to do .

Still Looking Back~

Looking Back~

I was just looking back at the old posts from primary (elementary) school and I realized how many things I never knew then.... I can remember certain things that happened during those days, but only as a third person... In other words, I can't remember much from my point of view, how I felt, what I saw... I can only remember stuff as an onlooker, as If I were looking upon those scenes as if i were watching it as a movie.. It's sad ... I can't remember how I felt . Sigh~ perhaps I shall try to remember .

Life.

Seems like I haven't been posting regularly .. So here's an update of my *happy* life for those of you out there who actually take time to read my blog. So my heartfelt thanks goes to all who are seeing/reading this :)

So, the holidays are drawing to a close and next year I'll be in Sec2 :) would you believe that? :O .... Merely 365 days ago, I was a stranger to the new systems and was hardly a junior, and now I'm moving on, familiar with the environment and everything, to a higher level of expectations waiting for me in a few days time.. Before I hit the topic of school and everything, I just want to recap a little of what I've been doing this hols :)

Well, when school ended there was Dance practice :) All through November ... Then I went for WEB Camp, Captivated .. (WEB is my church group) . There I experienced so much and things so fulfilling, even now, I'm surprised at how much I discovered about God and myself during the camp. I believe that the enlightening was from God and now I'm still trying to be faithful to my resolutions and changes in life I have made to be closer to God. Then, I had a 5-day mission trip a day or two after the WEB camp .. It was at Indonesia, pekan baru(?) sorry for spelling . Anyway, the experiences I had there, the need I had to trust God there (spiders ad everything), was enough to affirm that God was in control and I was on the right track. After the trip, I was a ... Helper at a Kidz camp at church, it was a 3 day day-camp, where kids from all backgrounds come to know who God is. It was really cool and fun, but in between the camp, I had to rush here and there for dance practice and a Dance performance for KSS's open house too. The children there were great and open, and I pray the Lord will minister to them. Unfortunately, one of my close friends who was at the camp suffered and illness (also known as dengue) and had to be hospitalized for a while ... It was hard, but eventually God healed, and he's back on his feet again :) PTL . so after the Kidz camp I had a dance camp the following week, so I attended and had loads of fun, learning new dances, getting WET, working out, bonding, sleeping in the music room, scary night walks etc :D it was the perfect break I needed from working hard, an I enjoyed it, and during the camp, I texted the hospitalized friend occasionally for company :) and I got the most resilient dancer award at the end of the camp :D

So after the camp, things quietened down a little, still having regular piano lessons and tuition, while homework was relatively untouched. I guess I slacked off a little too much .. Now must rush it all :P yeah... So basically I have wasted off most of the remaining days with TV, slacking, wii ... Haiz .

So now, two of my younger cousins are here to sleepover through Christmas (why?) but I guess it's a reminder from God to lay of the slacking a bit ...

That's pretty much everything ... For school next year, I'm pretty excited to see the new juniors, because I haven't been a "senior" for a year now ... And i hope the new teachers are nice... Speaking of worry, I'm a little concerned about the subjects, topics and such in sec2... I'm sure theres gonna be difficulty ... But I'll just have faith :))

It was actually knid of fun~

My fav. was the rolling off the bed scene by Skyxis and Su Te (claps)! :DD
It was totally hilarious, it seemed as if both of them had died XP

Also, there was the Su Te and Skyxis throw-the-bag and fight scene! I love the bloopers. Actually, I loved ALL the epic bloopers!

Now the fun part is over, and the tedious part will start: editing. even world class directors don't need to do as much as I do now .__. Haiz~

Anyway, I hope the trailer will be great!:D HOPEFULLY . And we will get good grades. Also, thanks to Adrienne and Rahah for LOL-ing with me!! :D For the guys, you could have done better, but hey, you had the most lines and scenes so GOOD JOB!:D

Mr Foos Party

Ps . Somehow this post came to the front . It was posted some time ago .

So sorry haven't been updating for a while(: so today we had a farewell party for my physics teacher, Mr Foo, who is gonna travel around the world. I spent $8 on food :O Pretty much a fail party.. :/ I'm quite disappointed with 1 Adians.. I thought turn up would be good, but less than half the class came.. Even Mr Foo looked (and sounded) bored-ish. So anyway, I had quite a good time(: Haha:D so thanks to Alice for planning the party, Adrienne for being with me, and those who turned up, especially the guys(:

And today I had an algebra test, not sure how I'm gg to do..

And we went to the Bio lab today to do starch, protein and .. Fat(?) Test. Ruzain broke a test tube -.- tsk tsk.

And I walked home with my dear Alice:D haha:D

Hey ppl I'm back again...

Well, hows life? I'm ok, I guess,..

As u guys all probably noe, School= homework, teachers(good or bad) , Boys , Crushes(None so far) , Enemies, cliques , and stuff... I hav new frens, new classmates, new life at my secondary school.

My new best fren in school is Adrienne (A-dri-in yeah i noe hard to pronounce) and she is AWESOME:D well, in class we hav quite a few good and sum not-so-good frens and teachers...

Well, my best fren can b abit weird, i mean, she actually told her crush dat she liked him b4 she told her BFF (Me)!! I like her personality a lot ...

CCA? Dance (Naturally)... Its quite cool, n i got into the SYF for dis yr, so i can take part in 2 SYFs in my sec sch life, once dis yr n once in 2 yrs. It is quite good, i guess, so better buck up! Yeah, I mix up the steps n stuff, but i tink i can make it :DD (Soon)

To all my best frens and normal frens frm 6 Care, i wont forget u for life, kays? I wish all of u the best in yr lives :) :) (Although the school changed colour - green.. I'm sick of green, really. Green Skirt, Green School, Green table, Green grass, green tress, green lime-flavoured sweets dat rock but i srsly tink dat they should change the colour...... GREEN!!!!)

Hows life ppl? Haha:) So far so good for me, with my NEW classmates... Well, although everythings, like, new, I really miss the old times. Like during Biology Class, I remember Mdm Thana's (Hi, Mdm Thana) Drawings, memoriable handwriting, and during, like classroom deco, I remember 6 care's Totally awesome Notice Board:) And then Durin Class, at sum point of time I go like, hey, Reynard would hav made a joke here; or even, hey, Ms Ler (Hi, Ms Ler) would have asked En Hao or sumone to Stand and answer a question ard here...

And, I m missing things I never thought I would miss... Like the times, aft recess, EVeryone would talk n walk ard, and then sumone shouts, "Teacher's Comin!" And everyone dashes to their seats... Good Tims:) (Srry for the confessions ppl...)
