the gear of PSLE (again...)

This is a repeated post frm one way back down... (again)

Sigh... PSLE is coming up! Are you ready? No? Ok...

What you need is this:

- Helmet of ... knowledge?
- Breastplate of ... Books?
- Sword of ... Pencil? (Pen is fine)
- Shield of faith (I know this one)
- Belt of ... extra correction tape?

This is the armour of ... erm .... PSLE?

*LOL*

The Process of photosynthesis... :D

Dadicated to Mdm Thana, the teacher with the most passion for teaching...

photosynthesis is the process of converting light energy to chemical energy and storing it in the bonds of sugar. This process occurs in plants and some algae (Kingdom Protista). Plants need only light energy, CO2, and H2O to make sugar. The process of photosynthesis takes place in the chloroplasts, specifically using chlorophyll, the green pigment involved in photosynthesis. Photosynthesis takes place primarily in plant leaves, and little to none occurs in stems, etc. Photosynthesis does not occur in the roots.

photosynthesis takes place mainly because the plant has chlorophlast, which contains the green pigment.
There are two parts to photosynthesis:

The light reaction happens in the chlorophlast and converts light energy to chemical energy. This chemical reaction must, therefore, take place in the light. Chlorophyll and several other pigments are organized in clusters in a kind of membrane and are involved in the light reaction. Each of these differently-colored pigments can absorb a slightly different color of light and pass its energy to the central chlorphyll molecule to do photosynthesis.

blah blah blah... ok, this is part 1, for those smart geeks. this is the dummy version of people like me... :

FOR THE PROCESS OF PHOTOSYNTHESIS YOU NEED A GREEN PLANT (OR A PROTOCTISTA OR A PROKARYOTE.) YOU ALSO NEED SUNLIGHT AND WATER .IN PLANTS, THE PROCESS BEGINS WHEN IT RAINS AND WHEN YOU BREATH OUT CARBON DIOXIDE. IT TAKES THE CARBON DIOXIDE THROUGH THE LEAVES AND THE WATER THROUGH THE ROOTS OF THE PLANT. THEY THEN MIX TOGETHER IN THE CHLOROPLAST WHERE THE LIGHT IS TRAPPED.THE MIXTURE OF THE TWO MAKE A SUBSTANCE CALLED GLUCOSE, A SIMPLE SUGAR, AND GIVE OFF OXYGEN SO THINGS CAN BREATH. THEN IT TAKES THE CARBON DIXIODE IN RETURN AND TAKES IN WATER SO THE PROCESS CAN CONTINUE .
PHOTOSYNTHESIS- MEANS PUTTING TOGETHER WITH LIGHT . GREEN PLANTS USE ENERGY FROM LIGHT TO COMBINE CARBON DIOXIDE AND WATER TO MAKE FOOD. LIGHT ENERGY IS CONVERTED TO CHEMICAL ENERGY AND IS STORED IN THE FOOD MADE BY GREEN PLANTS. THE LIGHT USED IN PHOTOSYNTHESIS IS ABSORBED BY A GREEN PIGMENT CALLED CHLOROPHYLL.

is this complete? I think so...
