But, on graduation nite, I realised: 1.
2.Teachers are bent on making you cry during grad. night, well, most are. (Hi,Mdm Thana) They give you all sorts of advice dat make u feel horrible not appreciating the past and all. Teachers are good at doing this both intentionally and not intentionally. Yup, real good.
3.Never pay too much for school food. Ugh, yellow-ish rice and chilli fishballs? Might as well go for nasi lemak. For $5, not too bad, but could do better in the food segment. I think the desert wasnt sweet enough, no not literially, as in, like, kids kind of sweet. I would suggest.... Cake, or cocktail, or sumthing dat wouls appeal more to us kids.
4. Never let your parents bring cameras to graduation night with you. they take countless pictures of you and your frens. Dat's ok, but when they ask you to take pictures with ppl u dun like, it gets all awkward. My parents left (of boredom) early, but im thinking this based on observations. :D (Poor Mustikha.)
5. Never sit in the center row when u noe they will hand out glow sticks. Tsk. The front row was soooo bright, dat My stick didnt work well.(Fine, it did work but u noe wat i mean) not cool.
6. Here's one thing to compliment. I like the fact dat parents were to sit on one side and the kids on the other. Spending graduation night with your parents is not a good idea as, u noe, if u cry, they will harp on it for at least till the next day. Or at the very least, they will like watch you really closely and all, so much for secret-sharing.But then, even though this may sound really mushy, i love my parents and, would actually like it if they spend Graduation night with me. It wont be ideal, but, it could be fun.
7. Always try NOT to cry, it starts off a crying chain. I shall not harp on this. Its embarrassing. -_-'
8. Never introduce your frens to your parents. See Point 6. I mean, they make weird remarks. Weird.
ok, dat's it...
oh ya, to clarify, these are personal opinons and shld not be taken too seriously. Thks alot for reading!
