Family Day(s)

So ... It's coming to the end of the hols, and School's coming back... This is just something we did ..

So on the morning of 27 Dec (9am) we got up and drove to RWS :D then we had breakfast and entered USS (Universal Studios Singapore) :) My dad's friend worked as a manager at RWS, so we could upgrade our passes for free to EXPRESS. .... However, the passes would only come later, so we had to make do with the queue for now .

First attraction was the Hollywood's LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION. (Short queue) We had been there before, but now we were in the first row so it was still cool.. With the effects and everything. A little scary... But okay.

Then we got out.

Secondly, we went to Shrek land (far far away ..) we took the dragon coaster (short-ish queue)... Rather thrilling I guess .. I sat at the back this time. -.-" The last time I came, I was at the front :( But I still enjoyed it nevertheless.

After that we watched the Shrek 4D.. Again. Sat in the first row :D

Then we got out in time to collect our EXPRESS passes personally :D after a few thanks and everything, we decided to have lunch first at a Chinese Bistro.

Lunch was Simple Dim Sum but it was really good.

Then we left.

The first ride we took with EXPRESS passes was the TRANSFORMERS . IT WAS GREAT . REALLY . REALLY . it was a stimulator ... And AWESOME. Wanna go there again. The BEST thing? We didn't have to queue the 3 hour queue XD. PTL.

So after that...

We proceeded to the LOST WORLD section . (Jurassic Park) then we queued (yes, even in the express line) for a ride on the canopy flyer :) the legs dangling one . Yeah .. My bro started to freak out a little bit but then in the end he managed to have fun too :D

However, because he freaked out a little bit too much he had a slightly higher temperature (too much blood in his head I think) and he got a bit grouchy and sleepy. And it was getting a lil rainy so we went to check in into our amazing room at Festive Grand. Where we would be staying overnight :D so after a nap and exploration of the room, I had a bath and then we went back to USS.

There, we went to the MUMMY (Egypt) section. While my parents went for the MUMMYcoaster thing (supposed to be scary) I went to the short ride on the jeep thing with my bro -_• oh well .

So we moved on and went back to the lost world. There we got a short ride on those flying ride things where it goes round and round. Yeah .

So after that we went for dinner at the lost world foodcourt thing .. It was so so
I guess . Really dear (expensive).

After that, the sun ha set and we went to watch the water show at about 7.30pm . The effects were good, it was really entertaining and everything.. Storyline could use some work though.

After that, it was getting kinda late so we headed back to ride the AWESOME transformers . this time we had to queue though, as the express passes could only be used once a ride. So we queued and everything... Then we had a ride on the best ride ever and headed back to our room.

There, after my bro had his bath, my parents went down to eat supper while my bro and I hung out and watched tv.

Then my parents returned with FOOD. Chicken drumsticks, spaghetti and calamari and Maggie Mee :D so we ate...? Yeah.

Then after washing up and everything we went to bed.

Next morning, my bro and I stayed in the room to eat bread we bought for breakfast while my parents made their way down for the hotel breakfast. Then after a few hours, we checked out.

After, we drove to the Singapore flyer, where we had an eventful ride again. Nothing special. We had been there before~

We had lunch at one of the foodcourts there which was expensive. I ate dim sum, dad had oyster egg, mum and my bro had chicken rice. Then we ate and left.

then we went home :D

There's a post Christmas party today at my house :D for my CG :D

So... We're all up preparing and getting ready :D

JIAYOUS~

My HERO .

My hero doesn't have mind control. He can't fly. He can't shoot cool webs. For crying out loud, he doesn't have any powers!

So then how is he a hero? He is someone who makes a difference in lives, helping people, controlling rowdy kids (like me), making the world a better place to live in for everyone!

He works hard, tries hard (his best, actually), is considerate, always lending a helping hand..

He comforts me when I'm sad, laughs with me when I'm happy, praises me when I do well, criticizes me appropriately when I do badly....

He is such a joker, yet serious when the need arises. He assess situations quickly and reacts to them accordingly, and gifts people generously. Not only that, he can solve problems wisely and listen to complaints patiently with empathy and has the initiative take action when needed.

He might not be the fittest, but his heart is probably the biggest, being compassionate and honest. Sure, he might screw up a bit, but he always manages to set things right and I can trust him to make good decisions and to do what's right.

He might not be considered a hero in others' eyes, (although he is one in mine), but he is certainly a role model and I'm sure that statement was met with unanimous agreement.

He is always there for me, and most importantly, loves me for who I am...

And I love him too :)

How I am spending my Christmas .

I woke up early, had a great time at church :D yeah .... So now I had lunch and I'm just staring into blank space .. Sigh . .... Sometimes I wish my cousins would go away, specifically the older one .... He's 10, and srsly outta control.

But hey, Christmas is not about holding grudges, and that's something I have to correct. So now, I shall try my BEST to make this Christmas worth a year's waiting :)

I'm really bored now, so I have to look for something to do .
